From any location within Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, head towards the nearest exit leading to Indiantown Road. If you're at the Refuge Visitor Center, take Blackwater Rd to the south and follow the signs for MD-335 N. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Indiantown Rd. Turn left onto Indiantown Rd. Continue for approximately 6 miles. Handsell House will be on your right at 4837 Indiantown Rd, Vienna, MD 21869. The drive takes about 15 minutes depending on traffic.
