Car
From the main visitor center of Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, head northeast on Key Wallace Drive (MD-335) for approximately 12 miles. Merge onto US-50 E toward Annapolis. Continue on US-50 E for about 20 miles until you reach the exit for MD-4 S toward Prince Frederick. Take MD-4 S and follow it for about 10 miles, then merge onto MD-235 S. Continue on MD-235 S for approximately 14 miles. Turn left onto Old State House Rd. The Maryland Dove will be located on your right at Old State House Rd, Lexington Park, MD 20653. Keep in mind that parking may have a nominal fee, which can vary depending on the time of year.

If you are utilizing public transportation, you will need to take a bus from the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center to the nearest public transport hub. Check local schedules for the most current routes. Once you reach the hub, transfer to a bus heading toward Lexington Park. After disembarking the bus in Lexington Park, you can either walk (approximately 1.5 miles) or take a local taxi or rideshare service to Old State House Rd.
