Car
From anywhere in the Capital Region, take I-95 South towards Washington, D.C. Merge onto I-395 South. Continue onto 14th Street Bridge, following signs for the National Mall. After crossing the bridge, take the exit toward the National Mall. Merge onto Constitution Ave NW, then take a right onto 3rd Street SW. Continue south until you reach E Street SE. Turn left onto E Street and then right onto 4th Street SE. Folger Park will be on your left at 38.8846142, -77.0029059. Parking is available on nearby streets or at designated parking garages, which may incur a fee.
Public Transportation - Metro
If you are near a Metro station in the Capital Region, take the Metro Rail's Blue, Orange, or Silver lines towards downtown D.C. If coming from the Maryland side, you can take the Red Line to Gallery Place-Chinatown, then transfer to the Yellow Line toward Greenbelt and get off at the L'Enfant Plaza station. Exit the station and walk east on D Street SW towards 4th Street SW. Continue on foot until you reach Folger Park at 38.8846142, -77.0029059.
Public Transportation - Bus
Check the local bus routes that service the area, especially the Metrobus routes. You can take the Metrobus route that goes to the Eastern Market area. Once you reach Eastern Market, it is a short walk to Folger Park. Head northeast on 7th Street SE, then take a left onto E Street SE, and finally take a right onto 4th Street SE to arrive at Folger Park. Bus fares vary, so check the current fare before boarding.
