Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to Annapolis, MD. From downtown Annapolis, head southeast on West St toward Church Circle. Continue onto MD-2 South (also known as Solomon's Island Road) for about 2 miles. Turn right onto East College Ave, then left onto Edgewood Rd. Follow Edgewood Rd until you reach the Thomas Point Park. From the park, you can view the Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse directly across the water. Note that there is no direct access to the lighthouse itself, but the park provides a good vantage point for photographs.

• Public Transportation + Boat

  For those relying on public transportation, take a bus or rideshare service to Annapolis. Once in Annapolis, you can arrange for a private boat tour that includes Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse as part of the itinerary.
