Car
From any location in Cunningham Falls State Park, head southeast on Park Central Road towards Route 77. Turn left onto Route 77 and continue for about 2 miles. Make a right turn onto MD-194 S (also known as Main Street). Follow MD-194 S for approximately 5 miles until you reach Walkersville. As you approach Walkersville, turn left onto Fountain Rock Road, which will lead you directly to Nature Center Place. The Fountain Rock Nature Center will be on your right at 8511 Nature Center Place. There are no parking fees at the center.

Public Transportation
If you are relying on public transportation, you will need to catch a bus from the nearest transit stop outside of Cunningham Falls State Park. The closest bus stop is in Frederick, MD. From there, take the MTA Maryland bus route that services Walkersville. Once you arrive in Walkersville, you can either walk or take a rideshare service to reach Fountain Rock Nature Center. It is about 2 miles from the bus stop to the Nature Center, so plan for a 40-minute walk or a short rideshare ride. Check local bus schedules for the most accurate times and routes.
