Car
If you're traveling by car from any location in Eastern Shore, begin by getting onto US-50 W from your starting point. Follow US-50 W for approximately 60 miles until you reach the intersection with I-97 N. Merge onto I-97 N towards Baltimore. Continue on I-97 N for about 16 miles, then take exit 15A to merge onto I-695 E toward Glen Burnie/Baltimore. After about 5 miles, take exit 2A to merge onto I-95 N toward Baltimore. After a short distance, take exit 50 toward Fort Armistead Rd. Continue on Fort Armistead Rd for about 1 mile, and you will find Historic Fort Armistead on your right. Parking is available on-site.

To reach Historic Fort Armistead using public transportation, start by taking a bus from your location in Eastern Shore to the nearest major transit station, such as the Annapolis Transit Center or the Baltimore Light RailLink. From there, board the Light RailLink towards Hunt Valley and disembark at the Lincoln Park stop. Once you arrive at Lincoln Park, transfer to the MTA Bus Route 73 towards Brooklyn Park. Get off at the Fort Armistead Rd stop, which is a short walk from the fort. Be sure to check the MTA schedule for bus timings, as they may vary.
