Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from anywhere in the Eastern Shore region, you'll first want to head towards the Bay Bridge (US 50) to cross over to the mainland. From there, take I-97 South towards Annapolis. Merge onto I-695 East towards Glen Burnie. Continue on I-695 for about 10 miles and take exit 1A to merge onto I-95 South. After approximately 5 miles, take exit 59B to merge onto I-895 South. Once on I-895, continue until you reach the exit for North Point Road (MD 150). Follow North Point Road for about 2 miles, and North Point State Park will be on your left at 8400 North Point Rd, Edgemere, MD 21219.

    To reach North Point State Park using public transportation, start by taking a Greyhound bus or Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus to Baltimore. From Baltimore, you can take the Light RailLink towards Hunt Valley and disembark at the 'North Point' station.
