If you are in downtown Frederick, start at the intersection of W Patrick St and N Market St. Head south on N Market St for about 0.3 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Heart of the Civil War Heritage Area is located at 22 S Market St, Suite 215, which will be on your right just past the intersection with E Church St. Look for the building with a sign indicating the Heritage Area.

From the Carroll Creek Park, head towards N Market St. Follow the bike path along the creek towards downtown Frederick. Turn right onto S Market St and continue biking south for approximately 0.4 miles. The Heart of the Civil War Heritage Area will be located at 22 S Market St, Suite 215, on your right. There are bike racks available nearby for secure parking.

If you are near the Frederick Transit bus stop, take the Blue Line towards the Frederick City Hall. Get off at the 'Market St & 2nd St' stop. From there, walk south on S Market St for about 0.2 miles.
