From Frederick, head to the Frederick Transit Center located at 100 S. East St. Catch the 'FRED' bus marked for Harpers Ferry. The bus will take you directly to Harpers Ferry. Once you arrive at the Harpers Ferry stop, follow the signs towards the National Historical Park. From there, you can start your hike towards Maryland Heights, which is a well-marked trail. The hike offers beautiful views and is a popular destination.

This scenic route will take you directly toward Harpers Ferry. Upon arriving in Harpers Ferry, you can access the Maryland Heights trailhead near the visitor center.
