    Start at the Frederick Transit Center located at 100 S East St, Frederick, MD. Take the 'FRED' bus service on Route 55 towards Urbana. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Urbana Pike & Monocacy Blvd'. From there, you will walk approximately 0.5 miles north along Urbana Pike to reach the Monocacy National Battlefield entrance at 5201 Urbana Pike.

    If you're renting a bicycle, start at Baker Park, which is centrally located in Frederick. Head east on College Ave, then turn left onto 7th St. Continue straight to connect to the Monocacy River Greenway Trail. Follow the trail until it leads you to Urbana Pike. Turn left onto Urbana Pike and continue for about 1 mile to reach the Monocacy National Battlefield entrance at 5201 Urbana Pike.

    From downtown Frederick, head north on Market St until you reach 7th St. Turn left on 7th St and walk until you reach the intersection with Urbana Pike. From there, turn right onto Urbana Pike and continue walking for approximately 1.5 miles. You will see the entrance to Monocacy National Battlefield at 5201 Urbana Pike on your right.
