If you're in downtown Frederick, start by heading north on Market Street towards 7th Street. Continue on Market Street until you reach the intersection with East Patrick Street. Turn right onto East Patrick Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with North East Street. Turn left onto North East Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Route 355 (Frederick Road). Turn right onto Route 355 and walk straight for about 1.5 miles. You will see Hamburg Road on your left. Turn left onto Hamburg Road, and after about half a mile, you will arrive at the Three Saws Trailhead, located at 9298-9038 Hamburg Rd.

From downtown Frederick, you can rent a bike and start from the Frederick Rail Trail. Head south on the trail until you reach the intersection with Route 355. At this point, you will be close to Hamburg Road. Follow Route 355 north, and when you reach Hamburg Road, turn left. Continue on Hamburg Road for about half a mile, and you will find the Three Saws Trailhead on your right at 9298-9038 Hamburg Rd.
