Walking
Start at the Frederick Visitor Center located at 151 S East St, Frederick, MD 21701. Exit the Visitor Center and head south on South East Street. Continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with East Patrick Street. Turn right onto East Patrick Street and continue for another 0.5 miles. You will pass through downtown Frederick, which has various shops and restaurants. After you reach the intersection with North Market Street, look for signs directing you towards the outskirts of the city. Follow the signs for US-15 N. After approximately 3 miles, you will find yourself near the border of Pennsylvania. Continue walking until you reach Pennsylvania 17325, which is where Seminary Ridge is located.
Public Transport
From the Frederick Visitor Center at 151 S East St, walk to the nearest bus stop on East Patrick Street. Take the TransIT bus route 55 heading towards the Pennsylvania border. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes; the bus will take you directly towards the vicinity of Seminary Ridge. Once you reach the stop nearest to Pennsylvania 17325, disembark and walk a short distance to your destination.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops near the Frederick Visitor Center. Start by heading north on South East Street, then turn right onto East Patrick Street. Follow the same route as if you were walking, but on a bicycle, you can take a more direct route along the roads leading toward US-15 N. The journey should take about 20-25 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Just be cautious of traffic and ensure you follow all cycling safety rules.
