Public Transportation - Metro
From Gaithersburg, walk to the Gaithersburg Metro Station, which is located at 100 South Frederick Avenue. Once at the station, board the Red Line train towards Glenmont. Stay on the train for approximately 27 minutes and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington. Ride for 5 stops until you reach the Pentagon station. Finally, exit the station and follow the signs to the Arlington National Cemetery, which is about a 15-minute walk from the Pentagon.

From Gaithersburg, find the nearest bus stop on Route 355 (Frederick Avenue). Board the Ride On bus Route 55 towards Rockville Metro Station. After about 25 minutes, get off at the Rockville Metro Station. From there, take the Red Line train towards Glenmont and ride for 12 stops until you reach the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Transfer to the Yellow Line train towards Huntington and get off at the Pentagon station. From the Pentagon, it's a 15-minute walk to Arlington National Cemetery.
