Public Transit

From Gaithersburg, head to the Gaithersburg MARC Train Station. Take the MARC Train (Brunswick Line) towards Washington, D.C. Disembark at the Union Station stop. Upon exiting Union Station, transfer to the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont. Ride for 2 stops and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. From there, exit the station and walk 0.3 miles. Head east on G Street NW, then turn left onto 7th Street NW. Finally, turn right onto F Street NW, and you will arrive at Capital One Arena, located at 601 F St NW.
Bus

From Gaithersburg, catch the Ride On Bus Route 55 towards the Shady Grove Metro Station. Disembark at the Metro Station and transfer to the Red Line towards Glenmont. Ride for 5 stops and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. Exit the station and walk 0.3 miles. Head east on G Street NW, turn left onto 7th Street NW, and then turn right onto F Street NW. Capital One Arena will be on your right at 601 F St NW.
Walking

If you are already near the Gaithersburg City Center, you can walk to the Gaithersburg MARC Train Station. From the center, head south on MD-355 and take a right onto E Diamond Ave. Follow E Diamond Ave until it becomes S Frederick Ave, then continue to the station. Board the MARC Train (Brunswick Line) towards Washington, D.C. Get off at Union Station. From there, take the Red Line Metro towards Glenmont for 2 stops and disembark at Gallery Place-Chinatown. Walk 0.3 miles east on G Street NW, turn left on 7th Street NW, and then right onto F Street NW to reach Capital One Arena at 601 F St NW.
