    From Gaithersburg, head to the Gaithersburg Transit Center located at 100 Maryland Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20877. Take the Ride On Bus Route 55 towards the Washington Metro Center. Stay on the bus for approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Washington Metro Center, transfer to the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station. From there, board the Washington Metro Yellow Line towards Greenbelt. Get off at the National Mall station, and exit towards Ohio Dr SW. Walk approximately 10 minutes to reach East Potomac Park.

    From Gaithersburg, walk to the nearest Metro station, which is the Shady Grove Metro Station. You can take a taxi or rideshare service if needed. At Shady Grove, board the Red Line Metro train heading towards Glenmont. Travel for about 30 minutes and transfer at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt. Get off at the National Mall station and walk approximately 10 minutes to East Potomac Park located on Ohio Dr SW.
