Bus
From Gaithersburg, head to the nearest bus stop at the Gaithersburg Transit Center located at 2 N Summit Ave. Board the Route 70 bus towards Greenbelt and ride for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Greenbelt Metro Station. From there, it’s a short walk to the center of Greenbelt. Just follow the signs or ask locals for directions.

Make your way to the Gaithersburg Metro Station, located at 100 Railroad St. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont and travel for about 20 minutes. Transfer at the Silver Spring Metro Station to the Green Line. Board the Green Line towards Branch Ave and ride for another 20 minutes until you reach Greenbelt Metro Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk towards the city center, which is about a 15-minute walk.

If you're relatively close to Greenbelt, you can walk there. Start from your location in Gaithersburg and head southeast towards MD-355 (Montgomery Village Ave). Follow MD-355 until you reach the intersection with Greenbelt Road. Continue straight on Greenbelt Road until you reach the city center.
