From Silver Spring Metro Station, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Travel for about 10 stops (approximately 20 minutes) and disembark at the Foggy Bottom-GWU Metro Station. Follow the signs to exit the station and head towards the George Washington University campus. Once outside, walk towards 23rd Street NW and turn right. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with M Street NW, then turn left. Walk straight on M Street NW until you reach 34th Street NW, then turn right. Continue walking straight, and you will see the Exorcist Steps on your left.

From Silver Spring, catch the Metrobus Route 1 or 2 towards Washington, DC. You can board the bus at any bus stop along Georgia Avenue. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 14th Street NW and New York Avenue NW. From there, transfer to the DC Circulator bus heading towards the National Mall. Get off at the stop at 34th Street NW. Walk south on 34th Street NW; the Exorcist Steps will be on your right side.
