From the Gaithersburg Transit Center, take the Ride On Bus Route 55 towards the Shady Grove Metro Station. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Shady Grove Metro Station. From there, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. After approximately 45 minutes, get off at the Judiciary Square Metro Station. Transfer to the Blue, Orange, or Silver Line towards Largo Town Center and get off at the Federal Triangle Station. Walk about 10 minutes to The White House, located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

From the Gaithersburg Metro Station, take the train on the Red Line towards Glenmont. This journey takes about 45 minutes. Get off at the Metro Center Station and transfer to the Blue, Orange, or Silver Line towards Largo Town Center. Get off at the Federal Triangle Station. The White House is a 10-minute walk from there, located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

If you are already near the Kentlands area, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Head east on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Great Seneca Highway. Continue straight until you reach the Gaithersburg Metro Station. From there, follow the Metro directions above to reach The White House.

For a more adventurous route, consider cycling. Start at the Gaithersburg City Hall and head towards the Water Park at Bohrer Park. Follow the trail that leads you to the Metropolitan Branch Trail. Cycle south on the trail until you reach the Takoma Park area. From there, navigate to the nearest Metro station to board the Red Line towards Glenmont, and follow the Metro directions to reach The White House.
