Car
From any location within Gunpowder Falls State Park, head towards the nearest major road. Use the park's internal road system to navigate to the nearest exit which leads to MD-24 N (Bel Air Rd). Once you reach MD-24 N, turn left and continue north. After about 6 miles, take a right onto MD-165 E (Norrisville Rd). Follow MD-165 E for approximately 3 miles until you see the signs for Gunpowder State Park. The park entrance will be on your right.

Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) offers bus services that can take you toward the Bel Air area. Take the bus that heads towards the Bel Air Transit Center. From there, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service for the remaining 6 miles to Gunpowder State Park, as there may not be direct public transport options available to the park entrance.
