From Hagerstown, head to the nearest bus stop for the Washington County Commuter Bus service. Look for Route 1 that travels towards Loudoun County. Board the bus and stay on it until you reach the stop at Front Royal. From there, transfer to a service that heads towards Hillsboro. Once in Hillsboro, you can ask the driver to drop you off at Mountain Road. Walk approximately 0.5 miles north on Mountain Road, and you will arrive at Doukenie Winery at 14727 Mountain Rd.
Bicycle
Start at the City Park in Hagerstown. Ride northwest on the designated bike paths until you reach the intersection with the Main Street. Continue on Main Street until you hit Route 40. Take Route 40 west towards Hillsboro. When you reach Hillsboro, take a right turn onto Mountain Road. Doukenie Winery will be on your left-hand side at 14727 Mountain Rd, approximately 3 miles down the road.
Walking
If you are up for a long walk, start at the Hagerstown City Park. Walk northwest until you reach Main Street. Head west on Main Street until you reach Route 40. Cross Route 40 and take the sidewalk heading toward Hillsboro. It will take you approximately 1.5 hours to walk to Hillsboro. Once in Hillsboro, head north on Mountain Road, and Doukenie Winery will be on your left at 14727 Mountain Rd.
