Walking
If you are starting from the Hagerstown City Park, head southeast on Virginia Ave toward E Franklin St. Continue walking on Virginia Ave for about half a mile until you reach E Franklin St. Turn left onto E Franklin St and walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach S Potomac St. Turn right onto S Potomac St and continue for about 0.2 miles. Look for the Hagerstown Moat on your left. It should be located in the vicinity of the park area.
Public Transit
From the Hagerstown Public Library, take the Hagerstown Transit bus route 1 towards the Valley Mall. Get off at the stop at S Potomac St and E Washington St. From there, walk straight along E Washington St for about 0.4 miles. Turn left onto S Potomac St and continue walking for about 0.2 miles. The Hagerstown Moat will be on your left, close to the park area.
