Bus
From Laurel, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take the RTA Bus 201 towards Greenbelt Metro Station. The bus should arrive every 30 minutes. Get off at the Greenbelt Metro Station, and from there, transfer to the Metro Green Line towards Branch Avenue. Ride the Metro for 4 stops and get off at the Bethesda Station. Once you exit the station, walk north on Wisconsin Ave for about 0.3 miles. The Bethesda Theater will be on your left at 7719 Wisconsin Ave.
Train
Begin by walking to the Laurel train station located at 325 Laurel Ave. From there, take a MARC train on the Penn Line towards Washington, D.C. After about a 20-minute ride, get off at the Silver Spring station. From Silver Spring, transfer to the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont and ride for 2 stops to the Bethesda station. Once you exit, walk about 0.3 miles north on Wisconsin Ave, and you will find the Bethesda Theater at 7719 Wisconsin Ave.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from a nearby bike-sharing service. Start from Laurel and head west towards the Anacostia Tributary Trail System. Follow the trail towards the Capital Crescent Trail, which will lead you directly towards Bethesda. The total biking distance is roughly 11 miles, and it should take about an hour. Once you arrive in Bethesda, continue on the Capital Crescent Trail and take a left onto Wisconsin Ave. The theater will be located on your right at 7719 Wisconsin Ave.
Walking
If you're up for a long walk, start from downtown Laurel and head southwest towards the Laurel MARC train station. From there, you can walk to the Greenbelt Metro Station (about 2 miles), then take the Metro as described above. Alternatively, you can walk directly to the nearest bus stop to catch a bus towards Greenbelt Metro Station.
