Start at the Laurel Station, located at 1 Laurel Station Rd, Laurel, MD 20707. Take the MARC Train on the Camden Line towards Washington, D.C. The train usually runs every 30 minutes. Get off at the L'Enfant Plaza station. Once you arrive at L'Enfant Plaza, follow the signs to the Metro station and take the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt. Get off at the Dupont Circle station. From Dupont Circle, exit the station and walk northwest on 19th St NW for about 0.5 miles until you reach Q St NW. Turn left on Q St NW and walk for about 0.2 miles. Dumbarton House will be on your right at 2715 Q St NW.

If you are closer to the Laurel Town Center, walk to the Laurel Town Center Transit Center located at 10000 Banneker Dr, Laurel, MD 20723. From there, take the bus route 89 towards Greenbelt. Ride the bus until you reach the Greenbelt Metro Station. From Greenbelt, take the Green Line towards Branch Ave and transfer at L'Enfant Plaza to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt. Get off at Dupont Circle station. After exiting the station, head northwest on 19th St NW and turn left on Q St NW. Walk for about 0.2 miles to reach Dumbarton House at 2715 Q St NW.
