Bus
From the Laurel Town Center, walk to the nearest bus stop on Route 1. Take the MTA Bus 83 towards Greenbelt Metro Station. Ride for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Greenbelt Metro Station. Transfer to the Washington Metro Green Line and take it towards Branch Avenue. After about 20 minutes, disembark at the Waterfront Station. From there, it’s a short 15-minute walk to East Potomac Park. Head southwest on M Street SW, then turn left onto Ohio Drive SW, and continue until you reach the park.

From the Laurel Town Center, make your way to the nearest bus stop and take the MTA Bus 83 to the Greenbelt Metro Station. Once there, purchase a Metro ticket for the Washington Metro system. Board the Green Line train in the direction of Branch Avenue. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the Waterfront Station. Upon exiting the station, turn left and walk southwest on M Street SW, then take a left onto Ohio Drive SW. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach East Potomac Park.

If you are already in downtown Laurel, you can take a long, scenic walk to reach East Potomac Park. Head south on Main Street towards Route 1, then continue until you reach the Laurel MARC Train Station. From there, you can take a train to Washington, DC. Once you arrive at the Washington Union Station, transfer to the Metro and take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Get off at Gallery Place and transfer to the Green Line towards Branch Avenue. Disembark at the Waterfront Station. Walk southwest on M Street SW, then turn left onto Ohio Drive SW, and continue until you arrive at East Potomac Park.
