Getting There

Metro
From Bethesda, walk to the Bethesda Metro Station located at 7600 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Ride the train for 4 stops (approximately 10 minutes) and get off at the Smithsonian station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the National Mall. From there, head southwest towards Ohio Dr SW. East Potomac Park will be on your left.

Bus
Walk to the nearest bus stop on Wisconsin Ave, either at the corner of Wisconsin Ave and Elm St or Wisconsin Ave and Montgomery Ave. Take the 30N or 30S bus towards the National Mall. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes, getting off at the 'Potomac Park' stop. Once you get off, walk south towards Ohio Dr SW, and you will find East Potomac Park.

If you prefer to walk, head south from downtown Bethesda towards the Capital Crescent Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the Potomac River. Keep walking along the river until you reach Ohio Dr SW. East Potomac Park will be directly in front of you as you approach the river.
