Bus
From Laurel, head to the Laurel Transit Center located at 811 7th St, Laurel, MD 20707. Catch the Metrobus Route 89 towards Greenbelt Metro Station. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Greenbelt Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Green Line Metro train heading towards Branch Ave. After about 20 minutes, disembark at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. From here, switch to the Red Line towards Glenmont for one stop and get off at the Farragut North station. Exit the station and walk about 5 minutes northeast on 17th St NW to reach Farragut Square at 912 17th St NW, Washington, DC 20006.
Train
From Laurel, walk to the Laurel MARC Train Station located at 325 Main St, Laurel, MD 20707. Board the MARC Train on the Camden Line towards Washington, D.C. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Washington Union Station, exit the station and transfer to the Metro Red Line. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont and get off at the Farragut North station. Exit the station and walk about 5 minutes northeast on 17th St NW to reach Farragut Square at 912 17th St NW, Washington, DC 20006.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing services available in Laurel. Start your ride from downtown Laurel and head south on Main St. Follow the signs for the Washington & Old Dominion Trail (W&OD Trail). This scenic route will lead you towards the D.C. area. Once you reach the intersection with the Custis Trail, continue towards Arlington, crossing the Potomac River via the Key Bridge. Upon entering D.C., navigate towards 17th St NW, and you will find yourself at Farragut Square, located at 912 17th St NW, Washington, DC 20006.
Walking
If you are near the Laurel Historic District, begin your walk towards the Laurel Shopping Center. From there, head southwest on Route 1 (Baltimore Ave) and continue straight until you reach the Greenbelt Metro Station. Take the Metrobus Route 89 towards Greenbelt Metro Station.
