Getting There

• Public Transit

  Start at the Laurel Town Center. Walk to the nearby Laurel MARC Train Station. Take a train towards Washington, D.C. and get off at the L'Enfant Plaza station. From L'Enfant Plaza, transfer to the Yellow Line Metro towards Greenbelt. Get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Finally, transfer to the Red Line Metro towards Glenmont and get off at the Shaw-Howard University station. From the Shaw-Howard University station, exit and walk northwest on 7th St NW for 4 blocks until you reach T St NW. Turn left onto T St NW, and you will find The Howard Theatre at 620 T St NW.

• Rideshare

  Open your rideshare app (like Uber or Lyft) and set The Howard Theatre's address (620 T St NW, Washington, DC 20001) as your destination. The driver will pick you up from your current location in Laurel and take you directly to the theatre. Make sure to communicate with the driver if you have any specific drop-off instructions.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, start from the Laurel Town Center. Head south on Route 1, then take the path leading to the Anacostia River Trail. Follow the trail towards Washington, D.C. Once you reach the D.C. boundary, continue on the trail until you reach the intersection of 7th St NW. Turn left and ride until you reach T St NW. The Howard Theatre will be on your right at 620 T St NW.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and don't mind a long walk, start from the Laurel Town Center. Walk south on Route 1 until you reach the intersection with the Washington, D.C. line. Continue walking straight through the neighborhoods until you reach the area near the Shaw-Howard University Metro station. From there, walk west on 7th St NW until you get to T St NW. Turn left and walk to The Howard Theatre located at 620 T St NW. This route is approximately 10 miles and will take you a few hours, so be prepared!
