    Getting There

    Bus

    From Laurel, walk to the nearest bus stop on Baltimore Avenue (US-1). Take the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus number 89 towards the Towson area. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, enjoying the sights along the way. After arriving at the Towson Town Center stop, transfer to the MTA bus number 10 towards 'York Road'. Ride for approximately 10 minutes, and get off at the 'York Road & Towsontown Blvd' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Towson University. Head north on York Road, and you will find the university entrance on your left.

    Metro

    Head to the nearest Green Line Metro station in Laurel (Laurel Town Center). Take the Green Line towards Branch Avenue and transfer at the Greenbelt station to the Yellow Line towards Huntington. Once you reach the Mount Vernon Square station, transfer to the Red Line towards Glenmont. Get off at the Towson station. From the station, take a local bus or rideshare to Towson University, which is just a few minutes away.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services in Laurel. Start by heading north on the bicycle path along Baltimore Avenue. Continue riding for about 6 miles, following the path signs that direct you toward Towson. You will pass several parks and local attractions. Once you reach Towson, follow signs to York Road, where Towson University is located. The entrance will be on your right.

    Walking

    If you are feeling adventurous and enjoy walking, you can start from downtown Laurel and head north on Route 1 (Baltimore Avenue). This route is approximately 10 miles long, so it may take you a couple of hours. Follow the pedestrian paths and sidewalks to ensure safety. After about 2.5 hours of walking, you will arrive at Towson University on York Road. Make sure to bring water and wear comfortable shoes!
