From Laurel, head to the nearest bus stop that services the Metrobus routes. You can catch the Metrobus B30 route towards the Greenbelt Metro Station. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes. Once you arrive at the Greenbelt Metro Station, transfer to the Green Line train towards Branch Avenue. Ride the train for about 30 minutes until you reach the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station. From L'Enfant Plaza, walk northwest on 7th Street SW, then turn right onto Pennsylvania Avenue NW. The White House Visitor Center will be on your left at 1450 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

Start by walking to the Laurel Train Station. Board the MARC Train on the Penn Line towards Washington Union Station. The train ride will take roughly 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Union Station, exit and follow the signs to the Metro. Take the Red Line train towards Glenmont and transfer at Gallery Place to the Yellow or Green Line towards Branch Avenue. Get off at the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station. From there, walk northwest on 7th Street SW, then turn right onto Pennsylvania Avenue NW. You will find the White House Visitor Center at 1450 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
