From Laurel, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Metrobus B30 towards Greenbelt Metro Station. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Greenbelt Metro Station. Once there, transfer to the Green Line (this is the direction towards Branch Avenue) and ride for about 20 minutes until you reach the Navy Yard-Ballpark Metro Station. Exit the station and walk southwest for about 15 minutes, crossing over the Anacostia River and towards Ohio Dr SW. The John Ericsson Memorial will be on your left at 900 Ohio Dr SW.
Train
Make your way to the Laurel Train Station. Board a MARC train on the Camden Line towards Washington, D.C. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Washington Union Station. From Union Station, take the Metro Red Line towards Glenmont and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington and ride until you reach the L'Enfant Plaza station. Finally, walk southwest for about 10 minutes along Maryland Ave SW and turn left onto Ohio Dr SW.
