From Laurel, head to the Laurel MARC Train Station located at 1st Street and Main Street. Catch a train heading towards Washington, D.C. and disembark at the Washington Union Station. Once at Union Station, follow the signs to the DC Metro system and take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Get off at the 'Gallery Place-Chinatown' stop. From there, transfer to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt and take it one stop to 'L'Enfant Plaza'. Exit the station and follow the signs toward the Pennsylvania Avenue NW exit. Walk towards the Old Post Office Pavilion located at 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, which is just a few blocks away.

From Laurel, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Metrobus. Take the bus route that goes towards Greenbelt and transfer at the Greenbelt Metro Station to the Green Line. Ride the Green Line to the 'Gallery Place-Chinatown' station. From there, switch to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt and travel one stop to 'L'Enfant Plaza'. Exit at the Pennsylvania Avenue NW exit and walk a short distance to reach the Old Post Office Pavilion at 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing services available in Laurel. Start your journey by heading toward the nearest bike path that connects to the Baltimore & Annapolis Trail. Follow the trail toward Washington, D.C. This will eventually merge into the bike lanes leading to the National Mall area. Once you reach the vicinity of the National Mall, make your way to Pennsylvania Avenue NW and continue until you arrive at the Old Post Office Pavilion at 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

Start from the Laurel Town Center and head southwest on Main Street towards Route 1. Follow Route 1 south until you reach the Laurel MARC train station area. From there, you can continue along Route 1, following the sidewalk until you reach the intersection with US-29. Cross US-29 and continue walking towards Washington, D.C. This will take you through various neighborhoods before you arrive at Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Walk a few blocks until you reach the Old Post Office Pavilion.
