    From the entrance of Patapsco Valley State Park, head east on MD-99 towards I-95. Merge onto I-95 N. After about 15 miles, take exit 53 for I-495 N toward Baltimore. Continue on I-495 for 10 miles and then take exit 33 to merge onto I-270 N. After 5 miles, take exit 4B to merge onto I-495 N toward Silver Spring. Continue for about 15 miles and take exit 27 onto US-1 N towards Washington. Follow the signs for US-29 N and merge onto 16th St NW. Turn right onto U St NW, and then left onto 21st St NW. The Phillips Collection will be on your right at 1600 21st St NW, Washington, DC 20009.

    From Patapsco Valley State Park, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the MARC Train from Elkridge Station (the closest station). Board a train heading to Washington, D.C. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Union Station. From Union Station, take the Red Line Metro towards Glenmont. Get off at the Dupont Circle station. Exit the station and walk northwest on 19th St NW, then turn left onto U St NW. Finally, turn right onto 21st St NW, and you will find The Phillips Collection at 1600 21st St NW, Washington, DC 20009.
