From the Annapolis City Dock, head northwest on Dock Street toward Main Street. Continue onto Main Street until you reach West Street. Turn left onto West Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Church Circle. At Church Circle, take the second exit onto State Circle and continue straight to the intersection with Duke of Gloucester Street. Turn right onto Duke of Gloucester Street and continue walking until you reach the US Naval Academy entrance. Enter the Academy, and follow the signs to the Visitor Center. From there, head towards the Academy's main gate and exit onto Maryland Avenue. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with College Avenue. Continue straight onto College Avenue, and eventually, it will lead you to the nearby bus stop. Take the bus to Washington, DC, and get off at McPherson Square.

From the Annapolis City Dock, walk to the nearest bus stop at the corner of Main Street and West Street. Board the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus number 70 heading towards Washington, DC. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes, and disembark at the McPherson Square stop. From the bus stop, walk a short distance north on 15th Street NW to reach McPherson Square, which is located at 901 15th St NW.
