Car
From Pocomoke River State Park, head east on MD-412 E (Pocomoke Rd). Continue for approximately 8.5 miles until you reach US-13 N. Merge onto US-13 N and drive for about 24 miles. Take the exit for MD-175 E toward Chincoteague Island. Follow MD-175 E for about 8 miles until you reach the entrance to Assateague Island National Seashore. There is a fee of $25 per vehicle for a 7-day pass to enter the park. Once inside, follow the signs to Assateague Lighthouse, which is located at the end of the road.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Pocomoke City to Salisbury, MD. From Salisbury, transfer to a bus that goes to Chincoteague, VA.
