Change to the Yellow Line towards Huntington. Continue on the Yellow Line until you reach the King Street-Old Town station (approximately 20 minutes). From the King Street-Old Town station, you can either walk to the Alexandria National Cemetery (approximately 15 minutes) by heading south on King Street, then turning left onto Wilkes Street, or take a local bus if available.

From Rockville, locate the nearest bus stop serving the Ride On bus system. Take the Ride On Bus Route 45 towards the Glenmont Metro Station. After approximately 20-30 minutes, transfer to Metrobus Route 11Y towards Alexandria. Ride the bus until you reach the stop closest to the Alexandria National Cemetery, which will be near Wilkes Street. From there, walk to the cemetery, which should take about 5 minutes.
