Walking
If you are starting from Rockville Town Center, head east on E Montgomery Ave towards N Washington St. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Avery Rd. Turn left onto Avery Rd and continue walking for approximately 1 mile. Red Gate Park will be on your right at 14500 Avery Rd.
Public Transport - Bus
From the Rockville Metro Station, take the Ride On Bus Route 55 towards Shady Grove Metro Station. Get off at the Avery Rd & Edmonston Dr stop. Walk north on Avery Rd for about 0.3 miles, and you will find Red Gate Park on your left at 14500 Avery Rd.
Biking
If you have a bike, you can start at the Rockville Town Center and head south on N Washington St. Merge onto the Rock Creek Trail, which runs parallel to Avery Rd. Follow the trail until you reach Red Gate Park at 14500 Avery Rd. This route is about 1.5 miles and offers a scenic ride along the creek.
