From Sandy Point State Park, exit the park and head southwest on Sandy Point State Park Road toward the MD-50 ramp. Merge onto MD-50 E toward Annapolis. Continue on MD-50 E for about 4 miles. Take exit 24 for I-97 N toward Baltimore. Merge onto I-97 N and continue for approximately 14 miles. Take exit 4A for I-695 E toward Essex. Merge onto I-695 E and continue for about 7 miles. Take exit 44B for I-95 N toward Wilmington. Merge onto I-95 N and follow the signs to Baltimore. Take exit 54 for Moravia Road toward MD-150. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Moravia Rd E. After approximately 1 mile, turn right onto Newgate Ave. The destination, Liberty Ship John W. Brown at Pier 13, will be on your left.

From Sandy Point State Park, walk to the nearest bus stop on MD-50. Take the MTA Maryland Bus Route 70 towards Baltimore. Ride for about 45 minutes until you reach the Baltimore City Center. Transfer to the Light RailLink at the Baltimore Arena station. Board the train towards Hunt Valley and disembark at the Baltimore Arena station. From there, walk a few blocks to the nearest bus stop for the MTA Maryland Bus Route 1. Board the bus and ride for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop for Newgate Ave. Walk a short distance to Pier 13, and you will arrive at Liberty Ship John W. Brown.
