Getting There

  • Car

    From Sandy Point State Park, exit the park and head south on Sandy Point State Park Road. Merge onto MD-2 South (Solomons Island Road) and continue for about 5 miles. Merge onto US-50 East towards Annapolis. After about 4 miles, take exit 24 for Rowe Blvd. Continue on Rowe Blvd and turn right onto Main St. The Museum of Historic Annapolis will be on your left at 99 Main St, Annapolis, MD 21401. There may be parking available nearby but be aware that some areas may incur parking fees.

    From Sandy Point State Park, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to the nearest public transportation hub. Once at the hub, you can take the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus number 70 towards Annapolis.
