    From Sandy Point State Park, exit the park and turn left onto Sandy Point State Park Rd. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with MD-2 (Solomons Island Rd). Turn left onto MD-2 and continue for approximately 2.5 miles. Take the ramp onto I-97 S toward Annapolis. Merge onto I-97 S and drive for about 5 miles. Then take exit 15A to merge onto I-695 E toward Glen Burnie. Continue on I-695 E for about 8 miles, then take exit 43A for I-95 N toward Baltimore. After about 5 miles, take exit 59 for North Point Blvd. Turn right onto North Point Blvd and follow it for 3 miles. Finally, turn right onto North Point Rd and drive for about 1 mile. North Point State Park will be on your left at 8400 North Point Rd, Edgemere, MD 21219.

    To reach North Point State Park from Sandy Point State Park using public transportation, you will first need to get to the nearest bus stop. Walk to the nearest bus stop at the entrance of Sandy Point State Park and take the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus route 20 toward the Baltimore area. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'North Point Blvd & 7th Ave' bus stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to North Point State Park. Head northeast on North Point Blvd, then turn left onto North Point Rd. The park entrance will be on your left at 8400 North Point Rd, Edgemere, MD 21219.
