Car
From Sandy Point State Park, head south on MD-2 S (Solomons Island Rd) for approximately 3 miles. Take the exit towards MD-665 N (Broadneck Park/Annapolis). Continue on MD-665 N, which will merge into MD-50 E. After about 2 miles, take the exit toward Rowe Blvd. Merge onto Rowe Blvd, then turn left onto West St. Continue for about 1 mile and turn right onto Hilltop Ln. Truxtun Park will be on your right at 273 Hilltop Ln, Annapolis, MD 21403.
Public Transportation
From Sandy Point State Park, take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest bus stop at Annapolis Transit. Once there, board the Route 14 bus towards Eastport. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the 'Hilltop Lane' stop, which is the closest stop to Truxtun Park. Walk approximately 5 minutes to reach the park entrance at 273 Hilltop Ln, Annapolis, MD 21403. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings.
Bicycle
If you're cycling from Sandy Point State Park, exit the park and head south on MD-2 S. Use the bike lane where available, and be cautious of traffic. Follow the same route as if you were driving, taking the exit towards MD-665 N. When you reach Hilltop Ln, turn right and continue straight until you reach Truxtun Park at 273 Hilltop Ln, Annapolis, MD 21403. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic regulations.
