Start at the Silver Spring Metro Station, which is on the Red Line. Take the train towards Glenmont and get off at the next stop, Forest Glen. From Forest Glen, transfer to the Metrobus Route J2 heading towards the Pentagon. Ride for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the stop for Arlington House. The house is just a short walk from the bus stop.

From downtown Silver Spring, head to the Silver Spring Transit Center. Board the Metrobus Route C2 towards the Pentagon. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the stop for Arlington House. The site will be a short walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle
If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike-share programs in Silver Spring. Start by heading south on Georgia Avenue towards Washington, D.C. Follow the bike lanes along Georgia Avenue until you reach the intersection with Arlington Boulevard. Turn right onto Arlington Boulevard, and continue until you reach Sherman Drive. Turn left and follow Sherman Drive to reach Arlington House. The ride should take about 30-40 minutes.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start at the Silver Spring Metro Station and head south down Georgia Avenue. Walk for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Arlington Boulevard. Cross the street and continue towards Fort Myer. Follow the signs leading to Arlington House, which will be about a 30-minute walk from the Metro Station.
