Getting There

• Metro

  From your location in Silver Spring, head to the Silver Spring Metro Station, which is located at 8100 Fenton St, Silver Spring, MD 20910. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont. You'll travel for about 4 stops, approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the Bethesda Metro Station. Once you exit the station, use the escalators to reach street level. Turn right onto Wisconsin Ave and walk approximately 0.5 miles (about 10 minutes) to reach Bethesda Theater at 7719 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814.

• Bus

  Locate the nearest bus stop for the Ride On bus service. You can take the Ride On Route 5, which runs from Silver Spring to Bethesda. Board the bus and ride for about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the Wisconsin Ave & Montgomery Ave stop in Bethesda. From there, walk south on Wisconsin Ave for about 0.2 miles (approximately 4 minutes) to reach Bethesda Theater at 7719 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814.

• Walking

  If you are close enough to Bethesda, you can walk there directly. Start by heading south on Georgia Ave or Fenton St until you reach the intersection with East West Hwy (MD 410). Turn left onto East West Hwy and continue until you reach Wisconsin Ave. Turn right onto Wisconsin Ave and walk approximately 1 mile (about 20 minutes) to reach Bethesda Theater at 7719 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, you can bike from Silver Spring to Bethesda. Start by taking the Capital Crescent Trail, which begins near the Silver Spring Metro Station. Follow the trail south for about 3 miles. This scenic route will take you directly to downtown Bethesda. Once you reach Bethesda, bike along Wisconsin Ave until you arrive at 7719 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814.
