If you are near Silver Spring Metro Station, exit the station and head northwest on Colesville Road. Continue for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with East-West Highway. Turn right onto East-West Highway and walk for another 0.4 miles. You will see the entrance to the Capital Crescent Trail on your left, just past the intersection with Maryland Avenue.

From the Silver Spring Metro Station, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Get off at the next stop, which is Forest Glen. Exit the station and head southeast on Georgia Avenue. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto East-West Highway. Continue walking for about 0.2 miles until you reach the entrance to the Capital Crescent Trail on your right.

If you have access to a bike, you can rent one from a nearby bike share station. From the Silver Spring Metro Station, head northwest on Colesville Road. After about 0.3 miles, turn left onto the Capital Crescent Trail. Follow the trail for a scenic ride; it will take you through beautiful wooded areas and along the water.

Take the Ride On Bus Route 15 from the Silver Spring Transit Center. Board the bus heading towards Takoma Park. Get off at the stop at East-West Highway and Georgia Avenue. From there, walk east on East-West Highway for about 0.2 miles; the entrance to the Capital Crescent Trail will be on your left.
