    From anywhere in Silver Spring, head to the Silver Spring Metro Station located at 8400 Colesville Road. Take the Red Line train towards Glenmont. Stay on the train for about 5 stops until you reach the Gallery Place-Chinatown Station. Exit the train and follow the signs to the street level. Once you're out, you'll be in the heart of Chinatown.

    Bus

    You can catch a bus from various points in Silver Spring. Look for the Metrobus routes S9 or Z6, which travel towards Washington, DC. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop at 7th St NW & H St NW. From there, walk a few blocks east until you reach Chinatown, which is centrally located in that area.

    Walking

    If you are staying close to the downtown area of Silver Spring, you can have a pleasant walk towards Chinatown. Head south on Georgia Avenue towards the Silver Spring Metro Station, then continue on to Fenton Street. Walk along Fenton St and take a right onto Colesville Road, which leads directly to the Silver Spring Metro Station. From there, follow the Metro instructions above.
