    Metro

    From anywhere in Silver Spring, walk to the Silver Spring Metro Station located at 8401 Colesville Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20910. Take the Red Line train toward Glenmont. Ride for 6 stops and get off at the Farragut North station. Then, transfer to the Dupont Circle Metro Station. From there, exit the station and walk 0.5 miles (about 10 minutes) to the DAR Museum located at 1776 D St NW, Washington, DC 20006. Head southwest on Connecticut Ave NW, turn left onto K St NW, and finally turn right onto 17th St NW, leading you directly to the museum.

    Bus

    You can take the Ride On bus route 14 from Silver Spring. Board the bus at the Silver Spring Transit Center. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes and get off at the stop at 17th St NW & D St NW. From there, it is just a short walk (about 2 minutes) to the DAR Museum at 1776 D St NW. Head east on D St NW, and the museum will be on your left.
