Getting There

  • Metro

    To reach East Potomac Park from Silver Spring, first, head to the Silver Spring Metro Station located at 8700 Colesville Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20910. Take the Red Line train towards Glenmont. After 10 stops, get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Yellow Line and board the train towards Huntington. After 2 stops, get off at the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station. Exit the station and head southwest on 7th St SW toward Ohio Dr SW. Continue on Ohio Dr SW for about 0.5 miles, and you will find East Potomac Park on your left.

  • Bus

    From Silver Spring, you can take the Ride On Bus Route 19 from the Silver Spring Transit Center, located at 8100 Fenton St, Silver Spring, MD 20910. Board the bus heading towards the Glenmont Metro Station. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop for the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station. Once you are at L'Enfant Plaza, exit the station and walk southwest towards 7th St SW, then continue on Ohio Dr SW for about 0.5 miles to reach East Potomac Park.

  • Walking

    If you are in central Silver Spring, you can walk to East Potomac Park by heading south on Georgia Ave toward Wayne Ave. Continue straight until you reach the Silver Spring Metro Station. From there, take the Metro as previously described to reach L'Enfant Plaza, then walk to East Potomac Park as detailed above. Note that walking directly without using public transport will take a significant amount of time (approximately 2 hours).
