From Silver Spring Metro Station, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Ride for 6 stops and get off at Gallery Place-Chinatown Station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the 7th Street exit. Walk towards 7th Street NW and turn left. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with G Street NW. Turn right onto G Street NW, then take your first left onto 10th Street NW. Ford's Theatre will be on your right at 511 10th St NW.

Find the nearest bus stop for the Ride On Bus Route 19 or 25. Board the bus heading towards Washington, DC. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the stop on 10th St NW at the intersection with Pennsylvania Ave NW. From there, walk north on 10th Street NW for about 2 minutes, and you will see Ford's Theatre on your left at 511 10th St NW.
