Metro
From Silver Spring Metro Station, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Ride for about 6 stops (approximately 15 minutes) and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington. Ride for 2 stops (approximately 5 minutes) and get off at the L'Enfant Plaza station. Exit the station and walk southwest towards the National Mall for about 15 minutes to reach the George Mason Memorial at 900 Ohio Dr SW.
Bus
From Silver Spring Transit Center, take the Z8 bus towards the National Gallery of Art. Ride for about 10 stops (approximately 25 minutes) and get off at the 7th St & Independence Ave SW stop. From there, walk south on 7th St SW for about 10 minutes until you reach the George Mason Memorial at 900 Ohio Dr SW.
Walking
If you're near the downtown area of Silver Spring, you can walk to the George Mason Memorial. Head southwest on Georgia Ave towards the Silver Spring Metro Station. From there, walk to the intersection of Georgia Ave and Colesville Rd, then head south until you reach the National Mall. From the National Mall, walk west towards the Tidal Basin area for about 30 minutes to reach the memorial.
