Getting There

Metro
Start at the Silver Spring Metro Station, which is on the Red Line. Board a train heading towards Glenmont. After 4 stops, get off at the Dupont Circle Metro Station. From Dupont Circle, transfer to the Georgetown Bus (D6 or 30N) at the bus stop located on the north side of the circle. The bus will take you directly to Georgetown. Get off at the stop closest to the Georgetown Waterfront Park.

Bus
If you prefer to take a bus instead of the Metro, start at the Silver Spring Transit Center. Board the Ride On bus #16 or #17 towards Takoma Park. After about 20 minutes, transfer at the Rockville Pike & Montgomery Mall stop to the Metrobus #G2 towards Friendship Heights. Get off at the stop at Wisconsin Ave & M St NW. From there, walk east on M Street towards the C&O Canal, and continue to Georgetown.

Walking
For those who prefer to walk, you can start from the Silver Spring Town Center. Head south towards the Silver Spring Metro Station and enter the station. Take the Metro Red Line to Dupont Circle. Once at Dupont Circle, exit the station and walk southwest along 19th St NW, which will lead you to M St NW. Follow M St NW until you reach Georgetown.
