Getting There

  • Metro

    From the Silver Spring Metro Station, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Stay on the train for about 7 stops and get off at the Dupont Circle Station. Once you exit the station, head southwest on 19th St NW towards Q St NW. Turn left onto Q St NW, walk for one block, and then turn right onto 16th St NW. Continue walking on 16th St NW for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with W St NW. Meridian Hill Park will be on your left.

  • Bus

    From downtown Silver Spring, head to the Silver Spring Transit Center. Look for the bus stop for the Metrobus route 70, which heads towards the District of Columbia. Board the bus and ride for about 20 minutes, getting off at the stop at 16th St NW & W St NW. From there, you can easily walk into Meridian Hill Park, which will be right at the intersection.

  • Walking

    If you're feeling adventurous and would like to walk from Silver Spring, head south on Georgia Ave towards downtown Silver Spring. Continue walking south until you reach the intersection with Colesville Rd (Route 29). Turn left onto Colesville Rd, then right onto 16th St NW. Walk along 16th St NW for about 1.5 miles. Meridian Hill Park will be at the intersection with W St NW on your right.
