Once there, purchase a ticket to the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Station in Washington, DC. Board the Red Line train towards Glenmont. After 8 stops, get off at the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Station. Upon exiting the station, walk towards Pennsylvania Ave NW and turn left. Continue on Pennsylvania Ave NW for about 0.3 miles until you reach Constitution Ave NW. Turn right onto Constitution Ave NW, and the National Archives Museum will be on your left at 701 Constitution Ave. NW.

Find the nearest bus stop in Silver Spring. You can take the Ride On Bus Route 15 toward the Silver Spring Metro Station. Get off at the Silver Spring Metro Station and switch to the Metro. From there, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. After 8 stops, get off at the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Station. Exit the station and walk towards Pennsylvania Ave NW. Turn left and walk for about 0.3 miles to Constitution Ave NW. Turn right onto Constitution Ave NW, and the National Archives Museum will be on your left at 701 Constitution Ave. NW.
